BodyMind Design of Dallas, TX offers holistic development and conditioning through one-on-one sessions designed by Amanda. She designs STOTT PILATES® programs with a wide range of Pilates equipment, props and other modalities exploring movement that energizes and strengthens the body, mind and spirit.
Amanda encourages the presence of mind developed through focused awareness while practicing mindful movement. Conscientious breathing while exercising will help keep you in the moment and in your body.
Breathing techniques calm the chattering mind, relaxing the body and nervous system. Our bodies work so much more efficiently when we focus from the inside out.
Both the breath and the applications of mindful movement will exponentially heighten your awareness in achieving your goals. The body, mind and spirit have an amazing ability to both reorganize and reprogram old patterns. The process will bring a new-found strength, flexibility, balance, energy and joy to movements of all kinds.
About Amanda Taylor
With over twenty years of extensive Pilates/fitness education and teaching experience, Amanda, not only brings the Pilates teachings, but integrates a new an insightful approach within the modalities taught at BodyMind Design. Over the last few years, Amanda has taken numerous workshops and courses affiliated with the Anatomy Trains®, studying the importance of fascia and the benefit it has on the body and it’s well-being. Amanda is enthusiastically passionate with the positive shifts clients are experiencing as they continue to progress toward there fitness and lifestyle goals.

Co-founders Lindsay and Moira Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent over two decades refining the STOTT PILATES Method of exercise.
STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Amanda has always felt a great appreciation for the integrity and clarity the updated method promotes. The goal with STOTT PILATES is to safely and effectively achieve optimal functional fitness.
Fascial Stretch Therapy™
Fascial Stretch Therapy™ is an assisted stretching technique performed by a certified FST Therapist, targeting both muscle and fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, tendons, organs, bones and joints. Amanda, your therapist will traction the joint with a gentle pull removing restrictions in and around the capsule for greater range of motion. The technique is gentle and pain free while moving the neck, spine, legs and arms through various planes of movement. FST is designed to relieve the stress and strain placed on muscles and connective tissues as a result of sports and everyday activity.

Amanda earned her certification in Spatial Medicine- CPM™ Education with founder and director Karin Locher. CPM attracted Amanda and teachers from around the world to learn from the phenomenal implications and potential of the newly appreciated neurofascial system.
Using the pioneering works of Thomas Myers Anatomy Trains™ as a guide with Pilates as a facilitator, CPM teaches how to recognize fascial imbalances and the strain patterns that cause our symptoms. It then shows us how to re-store them creating space where we were once stuck. BodyMind Design explores exercises that give a sense of expansion through movement enhancing mobility, strength and spatial freedom.
